Right of Withdrawal, Returns, and Exchanges
We value our customers and respect their rights under Norwegian consumer protection law. However, you can request a return or exchange even if the product does not meet your expectations. Please share the reason for your request.
14-Day Right of Withdrawal
In accordance with Norwegian consumer protection legislation, the buyer has the right to withdraw from the purchase within 14 days of the day the buyer or a person acting on the buyer’s behalf receives the product.
Conditions for the right of withdrawal.
The right of withdrawal does not apply to:
- products made to order or personalized according to the buyer’s specifications;
- products that cannot be resold for health or hygiene reasons if the seal or packaging has been broken.
Products must be returned properly packaged and in good condition.
Any reduction in value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to inspect the product’s nature, characteristics, and functionality may be deducted from the refund.
Return Shipping Costs
The buyer is responsible for all return shipping costs. Return shipping costs depend on the parcel size and start at 59 NOK.
We will provide the exact return shipping cost, return instructions, and a return shipping label.
Forest Kids Norway will refund the order amount minus return shipping costs and any additional costs incurred due to non-compliance with this policy.
Refunds are processed only after the returned product has been received and inspected, and will be credited to the original payment method within 5 business days.
Exchanges
If the product does not meet your expectations, you may request an exchange for another product from our collection.
For exchanges due to personal preference, the buyer covers all return and reshipping costs.
Exchanges are processed after the returned product has been received and inspected.
Sale Items and Final Sale
Products purchased on sale or marked as final sale are non-returnable.
Exchanges or refunds are not available for sale items unless the product is defective under applicable consumer law.
Damages, Defects, and Incorrect Items
Please inspect your order immediately upon receipt.
If the product is defective, damaged, or incorrect, please email us at info@forestkidsnorway.com or send a message via the website chat.
Please attach clear photos showing the damage or defect when submitting your claim. Claims related to damage, defects, or missing components must be submitted on the day of delivery.
Before assembling the product, please ensure that all parts, instructions, and tools are included.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned:
perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants);
custom-made or personalized products;
personal care products (such as cosmetics or care items);
hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases;
gift cards;
final sale items.
Natural materials and product appearance (Important)
Our products are made from natural wood. Please note that:
the actual colour of the product may differ from the colour shown on our website due to photo processing, lighting conditions, and differences between screens and devices;
products made from untreated or unpainted wood may vary in tone from batch to batch;
product photos on our website may show items from previous production batches with a different wood tone;
natural wood may vary in colour depending on the raw material;
even when products are stored sealed in packaging, natural colour changes may still occur over time.
These variations are natural characteristics of wood and do not affect safety, quality, or functionality. Unfortunately, we cannot control these natural processes.
How to Apply for a Return or Exchange
To request a return or exchange, please complete the return form HERE.
You can also send a request to info@forestkidsnorway.com with the relevant subject line: «Right of Withdrawal», «Returns», or «Exchanges», or text us via the website chat.
For returns or exchanges, please include the order number and the reason for the return or exchange (the Right of Withdrawal does not require an explanation). The declaration must be made no later than 14 days after receipt of the parcel, and the item must be returned unboxed.
